My Story

I was born in Hong Kong to a multilingual family. I loved languages and accents from a little age, and was lucky to go traveling with my family too!

I studied linguistics in the US and working in New York as a designer in startups and corporate environments for a while. After some time, I decided to go for a six month sabbatical to Europe where fell in love with the different places and cultures I encountered there, as well as the travel that I was doing.

This travel inspired me to create my own dream life and job to continue this lifestyle I had a gotten a taste of. Next came two years of pandemic, where I was lucky enough to use to build my online English pronunciation & American accent training business that would eventually allow me to live and work abroad as a digital nomad.

Now with years of experience, I'm continuing to build my business while traveling and exploring the world. Join me in this journey as I write about languages, travel, and life!
